| The 8th Annual Old Mill Heritage Day at The Old Mill Square in Pigeon Forge Tennessee, will be filled with music, food, fun and games for all ages, demonstrations, crafts, storytelling and best of all – tradition. Throughout the day you will be able to see firsthand what a "day in the life" of a Smoky Mountain pioneer was like. Crafts people will be on hand with demonstrations such as making lye soap, sorghum and apple butter making and new this year is cooking Appalachian style featuring a chuck wagon and cast iron cooking over open fires. Take a free guided tour of our 181 year old Historic Old Mill and see how antique engines and farm tractors were used. Bring Chairs and Blankets. |
